This is a really nice sized colander. Its lightweight and the handle makes it very easy to use. I rarely use the white "lid" but it can be very handy.
I use this colander a LOT and really like it.
Description of Tupperware Double Colander
Draining water from food takes on new dimensions with this 2-piece, 2-quart colander. With three sturdy legs to keep contents above water, the deep colander drains up to 1 pound of cooked pasta. The shallow colander can be used separately for small amounts of food, inverted to drain cans, or interlocked by a tab into the large colander. When interlocked so that the shallow colander faces dome side out, the double colander forms a perfect interior space for leafy greens that can then be rinsed and shaken dry. With both parts nested together, the colander measures 4-1/4 by 9 (14 if including handle length) inches.
